Cosmetic Acupuncture + Skin Needling.
Working with your skin’s own intelligence.
The results are natural, real, and unmistakably you.
Your best skin day. More often.
You're not after perfection. You want to look like yourself, just more rested, more alive, more like the version of you that exists on one of those really good days. When you had 8 hours sleep, woke up before your alarm, zero stress and everything flows. You remember her, right?
Cosmetic acupuncture and skin needling work by encouraging your skin to do what it was always designed to do by encouraging collagen production, improving circulation, restoring firmness and hydration. The results build gradually over a course of treatment, because that's how real skin change occurs.
The Acupuncture Facial + LED.
This is not a facial in the traditional sense. It's a treatment the combines the wisdom of Chinese Medicine and modern techniques that will leave your skin glowing.
Every appointment begins with a light cleanse, followed by a Chinese Medicine constitutional assessment, because what's happening on your skin is a reflection of what's happening inside your body.
From there, ultra-fine needles are placed across the face at specific acupuncture points to stimulate local circulation, encourage collagen production, and gently lift and tone facial tissue.
The Dermalux LED is then applied while the needles to their work and you drop into deep relaxation.
Skin Needling with the Exceed pen.
Medical grade skin needling for real structural change. The Exceed pen is in a different category to standard microneedling. TGA-approved, German-engineered, and clinically proven, it is the only device of its kind cleared for both acne scarring and facial wrinkles.
Using a patented tilting needle plate that adapts to the contours of your face, the Exceed creates precise, controlled microchannels in the skin, stimulating your skin's own collagen and elastin production.
This is the kind of change that shows up not just on the surface, but in the structure of your skin.

Most clients are pleasantly surprised. The needles used in cosmetic acupuncture are ultra-fine. You may feel a brief sensation on insertion, but most clients settle into a deep state of relaxation as the treatment progresses.
-
The Exceed pen is arguably one of the quietest and most gentle in the market. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild prickling or warmth, nothing dramatic. I will constantly check in on your comfort levels and adjust the depth and speed as required so your comfort is always prioritised.
-
Immediately after treatment your skin will be red and warm, similar to mild sunburn. This is a normal and expected response and typically settles within 24–48 hours. Some clients experience minor flaking or dryness in the days following as the skin begins its regeneration process.
You'll be advised on post-treatment care before you leave, and it's important to avoid sun exposure, active skincare ingredients and makeup for the first 24 hours. Results build progressively over the following weeks as collagen production is stimulated and continue to improve with each session in your course.
-
Cosmetic Acupuncture has a cumulative effect, a treatment course of 3-6 weekly or fortnightly treatments that builds progressively. Maintenance sessions every 4–8 weeks help sustain and deepen results over time.
For skin needling, a course of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is the general recommendation. This allows the skin's collagen induction process to complete between sessions. Individual needs vary depending on your skin concerns, age and starting point, and will be discussed at your first appointment.
There is an example of a treatment schedule below
-
Absolutely! for most clients, a combination approach delivers the most comprehensive results. Skin needling works at a structural level, stimulating deep collagen remodelling and improving texture, tone and scarring. Cosmetic acupuncture complements this by supporting circulation, lymphatic drainage, muscle tone and the internal patterns that show up on the face. Together they address both the structural and the constitutional.
The two treatments are not performed on the same day, but can be alternated as part of a tailored treatment plan. We'll discuss what makes sense for your skin, your concerns and your schedule at your first appointment.
-
Yes. Cosmetic acupuncture can still be performed and will be adapted accordingly. Please disclose the location and timing of any previous injectables or fillers at your appointment so treatment can be tailored appropriately. As a general guide, it's recommended to wait at least two weeks after Botox and four weeks after fillers before having cosmetic acupuncture.

They work differently and suit different concerns — though many clients benefit from both.
The Signature Facial is a holistic TCM treatment with a cosmetic focus. Acupuncture needles are placed strategically across the face to stimulate circulation, encourage collagen production and lift and tone facial tissue — alongside a full constitutional assessment, therapeutic Gua Sha and Dermalux LED therapy. It treats the face and the whole picture simultaneously.
Skin needling with the Exceed pen is a more targeted clinical treatment. Medical-grade microchannels are created at a precise depth to trigger the body's collagen induction response — making it particularly effective for skin texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores, pigmentation and significant lines.
If you're unsure which is right for you, get in touch before booking and we'll point you in the right direction.

It depends on which treatment you're having.
The Signature Facial has no downtime. Most clients leave looking luminous and return to their day immediately. You may notice some mild redness in the first hour or two which settles quickly.
Skin needling involves 24–48 hours of redness and warmth, similar to mild sunburn. Followed by possible minor flaking or dryness as the skin regenerates. Most clients feel comfortable returning to work and normal activity the following day, with makeup able to be applied after 24 hours.

Both treatments can be performed during pregnancy, with some considerations. As an acupuncturist who works extensively with pregnant women, I'm well placed to assess what's appropriate for you and at what stage. Please reach out before booking so we can have that conversation.
